ANDY CANALES

Growing up in the inner city as the child of Salvadoran immigrants, I was aware that opportunities were limited. Despite this, I was fortunate to have parents who did their best to provide for me, and I also had the support of dedicated teachers. With their guidance and my own hard work, I was able to achieve a major milestone in my family by becoming the first college graduate. It wasn't easy, but I'm grateful for the people who believed in me and helped me get to where I am today.
